Weekly activities in Val d’Isere this winter

 

There’s more to Val d’Isere than skiing! Here’s some of the regular activities available in the village during winter to keep you entertained during your holiday..

Monday is market day!

The weekly market in Val d’Isere runs all day from 8am. Located in the heart of the village, you can find local and fresh produce, from fruit and vegetables to delicious cheeses and charcuterie.

Late night swimming at the Centre Aquasportif

Every Wednesday from 8.30 to 9.15pm the Centre Aquasportif team invites you to relax in the cosy atmosphere of the centre’s pools. You get free admission to the wellness facilities between 7.30pm and 10pm for every swimming pool entry purchased.

Introduction to Electric Fat Biking

On Sundays from from 5 to 6:30pm you can come and try an electric Fat Bike on the snow. Fred (instructor & guide) offers you a short introduction to this snow sport, free of charge.

Bring your helmet and gloves.  Minimum height >1m50 (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). Location: Chalet Fat Bike : Esplanade opposite the Centre Aquasportif

Snake-sledding

These futuristic sledges glide like snakes on the snow! It’s great fun sliding down the floodlit Savonnette slope with sound effects and a lively, festive atmosphere. Groups of 2-10 people. Children must be accompanied by adults. No reservation required, equipment included.

Each Monday from December 23, 2024 until April 7, 2025 from 5:45 to 7:45pm

Airboarding

This snow bodyboard will give you the impression of flying above the snow! You control it by moving your weight around.  Minimum age: 9.  Children must be accompanied by adults. Don’t forget your helmet! Takes place on the Savonette piste.  No reservation required, equipment included.
