Next weekend sees the ‘Vieux Val’ festival in Val d’Isere, organised by the ‘Lu Pic a Bouics’ association, the annual village fete where old traditions of the mountain village are celebrated. There’s lots of fun to be had for everyone. This year the theme for the parade is ‘Toys’.. as always, there will be lots of imagination and creativity on show !

2.30pm to 5.30pm: Children’s fête
6.30pm: Pics a Bouic dinner
9pm: Dance with Music Live
10.30pm: Firework display

Sunday

8am: Car boot sale
11am-1pm: Parade of ‘Toys’ floats
12.30pm: On-stage presentation of crews (Outdoor amphitheatre)
1pm: Lunch Savoie-style to music with Cocktail des Montagnes
– Prices: €15 adults / €5 children
4pm: Snack and confetti battle with PIC A BOUIC
5pm: Climb the church steeple with the Val d’Isère guides
