Great news last week as the French Tourism Minister finally confirmed that ski resorts and lifts in France will be opening at end of November!

No health pass (pass sanitaire) will be necessary to use the lifts or go skiing and the lift companies will not be requesting proof of vaccination in order to purchase a lift pass. However, the health pass will still be necessary for bars, restaurants and public transport.  Masks will also be mandatory on public transport, on ski lifts, in equipment rental shops and ski schools, in the Tourist Office, and in hotels, bars and restaurants.

As usual, during Val d’Isere’s opening weekend visitors have the opportunity to come and test out the latest skis and snowboards on the test village of the snow front.
