Snooc – the newest winter sport to hit Val d’Isere !
There’s a new winter sport to discover in Val d’Isère!
Explore the ski area with Snooc: a clever mix of sledding and ski. Ultra-playful and easy to learn, it offers unique gliding sensations in less than a few minutes!
If you’re not a skier, after a few runs you’ll be able to quickly accompany your friends down the slopes.
Sitting 20cm above the ground, with your feet in the snow, all you have to do is turn your shoulders to steer and learn to stop in a matter of moments.
One descent is enough to give you a great feeling of sliding along the ground, and with just a few hours’ practice and you’ll be on your way to carving!
You can start to practise slowly on the Savonette ski lift before taking it further up on the other lifts.
Snooc can be used on the following lifts: funiculars, gondolas (Daille, Solaise, Vallon), cable cars (Olympique, Fornet), chairlifts (Bellevarde, Cascade, Céma), carpets (Pim-pam, Poum, Carpe Diem).
The Snooc can also be transformed into a ski-snowshoe for a walk in the mountains and a descent on the most beautiful untouched natural slopes.
There are Snooc self-service distributors next to the Savonette ski lift, and near the start of the La Daille gondola.
