Lifts may be closed but there’s still lots to enjoy in Val d’Isere!
The government sadly announced last night that the lifts will not be opening at the beginning of February, and it still remains to be decided whether they will be opening later on in the month. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the lifts will open at some point this season!
However, even without the ski lifts open Val d’Isere is a wonderful place to be in winter! The scenery is spectacular, there are plenty of outdoor activities still on offer, shops are open, and many restaurants and bars are open for take-aways.
Snow sports activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski touring remain possible subject to a maximum of 6 people for adult groups and in accordance with the 6pm curfew.
