L’Aigle des Neiges becomes the Experimental Chalet this winter

L’Aigle des Neiges has become part of the Experimental Group family and is now Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère. The hotel has been reimagined into a winter’s haven of epic proportions, an escape in the heart of the French alps. The new hotel includes 113 rooms, two restaurants, a cocktail bar, a spa and meeting spaces. A place to relax, indulge and experience the thrill of skiing.

Restaurants

The first of the new restaurants is decorated with a mixture of rustic touches blended with tributes to the Savoie. A wood-fired oven will be at the heart of proceedings, and the menu filled with traditional dishes, such as delicate mountain cheeses, tartiflette and raclette.

A second restaurant is a brightly coloured brasserie, with wood panelling and wool throughout giving a tribute to the incredible landscape on the doorstep. Generous sharing plates inspired by the region will be the main focus here.

Both restaurants will serve lunch between noon and 2.30pm, and dinner from 7pm until 11pm.

Bar

Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère will be home to the sixth Experimental Cocktail Club, a hideaway for après-ski cocktails, aperitifs before dinner and a place to return to for a nightcap. A saloon-style space serving expertly crafted cocktails and light bites.
