We have visited La Casa Scara many times over the years we’ve been in Val d’Isere and it never gets old. If you fancy something a little different during your stay, this is definitely the place to visit.

With its cosy cute setting inside and relaxed atmosphere, La Casa Scara gives you an Italian experience with a very traditional mountain feel. The food here is delicious, and they offer many different plates that are not often found in other restaurants in Val d’Isere. If you fancy a change from the ubiquitous fondue/mountain food then this is the place to go !

The restaurant staff are great, explaining each dish well. They offer a number of specials that change regularly depending on ingredients they can get locally. They also have the best parmesan cheese! It really is a lovely Italian experience in the French Alps!

In a great location in the old town opposite the beautiful church. You can take a little wander through the smaller streets of Val d’Isere before settling into the restaurant for your cosy evening.
